Versace1608, I'll review this. dxneo (talk) 00:55, 10 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

1. Well-written [edit]

lead
  • Theta is the tenth studio album by Nigerian singer Brymo, independently released on May 27, 2022. ===> Theta is the tenth studio album by Nigerian singer Brymo. It was self-released on May 27, 2022. dxneo (talk) 01:45, 10 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • Brymo announced the album's track list in a Twitter post and described the record as "a study of humanity's struggles – and a view into what it might have been". ===> Brymo announced the album's track listing on Twitter and described the record as "a study of humanity's struggles – and a view into what it might have been." dxneo (talk) 01:45, 10 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Quick facts/infobox
  • Information on the infobox must reflect cited information in the body of the article; Producer and Label. dxneo (talk) 01:45, 10 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Background
  • Brymo announced the album's track list in a Twitter post; he described it as "a study of humanity's struggles – and a view into what it might have been". ===> Brymo announced the album's track listing on Twitter and described the record as "a study of humanity's struggles – and a view into what it might have been." dxneo (talk) 01:45, 10 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Producer Bigfoot, who previously oversaw the production of Brymo's Harmattan & Winter and Libel projects, single-handedly mixed, mastered, and produced all of the album's tracks. ===> Record producer, Bigfootinyourface, who previously oversaw the production of Brymo's debut extended play (EP) Libel and ninth studio album 9: Harmattan & Winter (2021), single-handedly mixed, mastered, and produced all of the album's tracks. dxneo (talk) 01:45, 10 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
    • I would also advice to add that the album is a no feature project, from this source. dxneo (talk) 01:45, 10 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Music and lyrics
  • All of the album's songs feature rhythmic percussion ===> All of the songs on the album feature rhythmic percussion
Tracks 1–5

  • "…creating vivid imageries" that are reminiscent of Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained (2012) ===> "…creating vivid imageries" that are reminiscent of Quentin Tarantino's 2012 film, Django Unchained. dxneo (talk) 02:10, 10 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Tracks 6–10
  • "Oga" depicts a male character who has sexually assaulted a woman and is on the verge of meeting his waterloo; ===> "Oga" depicts a male character who sexually assaulted a woman and is on the verge of meeting his defeat;
    • I like how you move slightly to avoid copyright vio. However, informal words such as "waterloo" gives it away. Please be careful when paraphrasing.
  • The ballad "For You" ends the album's sonic journey and folksy narrative ===> The ballad, "For You", ends the album's sonic journey and folksy narrative. dxneo (talk) 02:23, 10 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Critical reception
  • I don't think pointing out the review scores on the prose is the way to go. There's already a table above illustrating the scores. dxneo (talk) 02:29, 10 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Track listing
  • Bigfoot ===> Bigfootinyourface
Release history
  • Independent ===> Self-released/self-published. dxneo (talk) 02:32, 10 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

2. Verifiable with no original research [edit]

  • Not too much sources to go through. Looks fine, and the information in the sources matches with information in the article. Earwig finds copyright violations unlikely, with a 37.9% similarity to a Pulse source, which were mostly quotes. Sources look good. dxneo (talk) 02:43, 10 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

3. Broad in its coverage [edit]

4. Neutral [edit]

5. Stable [edit]

  • The article has not gone into any content disputes or heavy editing as it was mostly improved by one editor and recently by Guild of Copy Editors. dxneo (talk) 02:53, 10 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

6. Is it illustrated, if possible, by images? [edit]

  • No media files found whatsoever. I would advice that if no appropriate images can be found, at least do add audio samples on Music and lyrics. They would help in improving the article's quality. dxneo (talk) 03:13, 10 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Verdict[edit]

  • Patiently waiting on Versace1608 to attend to the above mentioned requests before we can move on. dxneo (talk) 03:07, 10 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
